Inaugurated on May 25th,
1996, the "Treasure" (Tesoro) is found in three adjoining rooms. The
entrance is located on the right of the chapel in which the "Madonna
della Stella" statue is kept.
The collection of Sacred
paraments (altar cloths) dating back to the 17th-18th century and Silver
pieces (chalices, ciboriums, relics, monstrances, jewels, ex votos), of
the same period, is very rich.
The "Treasure" also includes
a collection of altar frontals, sculptures and paintings. The Sacristy,
containing sculptures and bas-relief paintings dating from the 14th,
15th and 16th centuries, is a must see.
